Dresden – Reformation and its effects
On October 31, 1517 Luther put his 95 thesis on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. Which results did that have on Dresden, where the Albertine line ruled? When and why did Dresden become protestant?
During our city tour we are going to approach the Reformation from the Procession of Princess, Church of Our Lady to the Church of the Holy Cross and the Catholic Court Church which lies directly next to the Residence Palace. This walking tour may be followed by a visit to the noon service and playing of the pipe organ at the Church of Our Lady.
